Guideline 2002 / 95 / EG „Reduction of hazardous substances" (RoHS)

Safety and transparency with the selected material

When selecting materials, ROLEC Gehäuse-Systeme GmbH follows all rules and legal prescriptions which usually apply throughout the market. Thus, only materials corresponding to Guideline 2002 / 95 EG "Reduction of hazardous substances" are used for all ROLEC standard products.

According to this guideline, as of 1 January 2006, for certain categories of products, only such electric and electronic equipment may be put into circulation, which does not contain certain selected hazardous substances. These are mainly lead, mercury, chromium with valence 6, polybrominated biphenyl ether (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE). ROLEC products are RoHS conform since 1 May 2005.

We offer special customs solutions, especially adapted to the special requirements of certain branches and central competencies of our customers. These solutions may differ from standard products. This assures maximum safety and total transparency as to the composition of ROLEC high value enclosures for everyone who places an order.
